Welcome to the new home of the PoV Community. I've got to paint the walls yet, and perhaps add a couple of new rooms, but for the time being find a seat on a packing case and chat away.
Sue.

Hi Jimmy,
Welcome aboard. Rooms may or may not be added as required. Trying to keep this one heated is enough atm!

Bless you Sue! That 's the kind of "FORUM" I had in mind all these years!! Good one! Let's see how many of the old ghosts from PoV and that other place, find their way here!
Thanks! Michael "the original"

OK, The set up didn't let me use my real name, my registration was rejected so I've changed my moniker to an old nickname from the time I lived in Indonesia, a moniker which is and always has been my email address too. So Michael Hardiman is no longer unless someone can tell me how to change my username. As for you, Michael......grrrrrrr, no gloating allowed!

The set up didn't let me use my real name Hi "Mike"!!! Welcome! I think you should change the entry which says: * Display Name:but I think the admin or the.... legion of mods can give you more advise on that. If memory serves me, back at the "other place", you were one of those who objected to the "new" forums due to their complexity and unnecessary gadgets. Time to swim , my friend!!

When I am at work I use a very slow 20th century connection so minimum clicking is good with as much as possible visible. I have broad band at home but strangely I rarely use the computer at the weekend, Saturdays and Sundays are tech free zones.

Name change complete. So Michael, I suppose now that you have the format you have always wanted....you will be posting lots of interesting things for lazy clickers to not see?

Hello to everyone here. I've been a lurker on the other forum for a while - now it's gone I'm a bit gutted that I never had the courage to post anything. I'm glad that this one has been set up and hope to contribute in the future.

Welcome lefthanded knitter. As you have found, some of our posters can be a bit robust, but I'm glad you've decided to join in Sue.
